Sun Busters, a Plangea Inc brand, is a company focused on protecting kids without sacrificing style. Friends Carole Schlessinger and Jennifer Wolfe co-founded the company in 2003. At that point, they had three children between them (that number is now at six!). Carole, an Australian mom , and Jennifer, an American Mom, each loved the sun-protective products they could get for their children in Australia but were not available in the United States. Together with a fabulous team of designers and business people , they decided to create fresh, vibrant and stylish sun protective products for American babies and children that would be exciting to wear--and Sun Busters swimwear and hats was born.
Their complete line of merchandise is geared toward the active parent who wants quality, design and function in their products. All Sun Busters products provide a UPF of 50+ blocking out 99% of ALL harmful UV rays. Sun Busters brings the best of Australian design to the shores of the USA and the world.
At Sun Busters we are passionate and dedicated to education about sun protection, and we donate a percentage of our profits to organizations working to prevent skin cancer worldwide.
